MM teamed up with our friends at Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse to design and develop their brand new e-commerce online platform.
Project Process
MM designed the GPPW website using their brand guidelines, as well as ensuring all creative aspects stay clean and simple, with a heavy focus on CTAs to ensure consistency across the brand and the best customer experience possible.
The Magento 2 website is integrated into several GPPW internal and external systems to pass all information automatically and seamlessly between stock control and POS systems.
E-commerce
The GPPW website has a flexible banner management interface across the entire site. It also features an easy-to-use navigation, which houses a range of top tier and secondary categories, a comprehensive ‘On Sale’ section, and shoppable Online Catalogue which is run through Lasoo. To improve the simplicity of the user journey even further, we incorporated Algolia site search, powered by AI and machine-learning.
The GPPW website incorporates their social media pages, an interactive Shop Our Instagram and Shop the Circle feed that’s completely clickable and takes customers through to the checkout process, an informative Professional Services section and a custom developed Find a Store locator.
Transactional checkout is bolstered by a variety of payment gateway options including integrations with eWay, Humm, Paypal and allows for both domestic and international shipping through logistics software provider Shippit.
Online Prescriptions Service
To compete with other leading pharmacies online, MM helped GPPW launch their e-prescription service to customers. We developed a bespoke online dispensary system to work on top of the Magento CMS that could accommodate for a number of critical requirements, including:
- Patient records, with family / child relationships, doctors details, medical conditions, concession / medicare card details, previous order history and repeats.
- Custom product import solution that combines data from various systems to publish seamlessly into magento. This would assign multipack codes, stock, medicine schedule classifications, medicine pricing options (Private, PBS, Concession and Safety Net).
- Stock on hand syncs every 15 minutes.
- Alternative product detail page layouts based on medicine Schedule 2-4, built to specification.
- Uniquely modified checkout, with stringent rulesets tailored for patient information, pharmacy product schedules and mixed retail/pharmacy cart scenarios.
- Script upload functionality, stored on file.
- API integration with Corum LOTS dispense and POS software, later re-worked to integrate with POSWorks.
- API integration with GuildLink to provide the latest versions of Consumer Medicine Information (CMI) and Product Information (PI) from pharmaceutical companies for their medicines.
