Beko recently deployed a brand refresh to markets across Australia and New Zealand. To support this move, Beko partnered with Media Merchants to rebuild their Australia and New Zealand websites with a complete redevelopment to support their ongoing promotional and customer service efforts.
Media Merchants recommended Beko use the non-proprietary CMS platform – Magento eCommerce. Although the Beko sites do not require eCommerce functionality, Magento still represents the best platform for management of all site content, product categories, products and multi-site functions. Media Merchants has developed the websites so that both are capable of administering from a single CMS installation and via a single administrator login, which creates numerous benefits for Beko.
Media Merchants designed each page of the Beko Australia and New Zealand sites using the global assets in an effort to keep all Beko websites worldwide corresponding to one another. The Beko Australia and New Zealand redevelopment has made way for a large Home Page feature slider that automatically rotates through a number of different promotional banners, as well as a flexible banner management interface for various display sizes. It also features an easy to use navigation, additional pages and the ability to assign a number of Smart Solutions. These are independent of products and as such can be assigned to multiple SKUs.
The Beko Australia and New Zealand sites incorporate their social media pages and incorporates a cloud-based ‘Locate A Retailer’ solution, which is a critical feature of the website, as there are currently over 520 retailers across Australia and New Zealand that stock the Beko range of products.
